Frequently Asked Questions: Home Additions
The short answer is yes, for years we have worked to make this a priority for our home addition projects and have many satisfied clients who say “You would never know this wasn’t original construction.” We do so by sourcing matching materials from many different suppliers for each product needed.
No, we are a full-service design-and-build company and actually prefer to draw the plans for you. This results in a more streamlined design intent, which is transferred to the build team, making it easier for you, so you only have one point of contact to worry with.
The timeline will vary depending on size and complexity, but our average addition project will take 6-9 months to complete from excavation to completion.
No. When you hire a licensed general contractor, One of the primary benefits of doing so is that you will shed the responsibility of managing and completing the work. We will pull all building permits and manage all of the permitting and inspection processes for you with your respective municipality. If a contractor ever encourages you to pull your own permit, you should be careful because they are either not licensed and therefore shouldn’t be performing the work, or they don’t want the responsibility of committing to finishing your project and therefore can leave at any time during an open permit.
