Joyce Lawrence is Décor and Staging Specialist for Blue Ridge Design Build. Joyce graduated from Francis Scott Key High School in 1978. She went on to complete one year of community college and one year at The Medix School where she became a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant).

She married into the construction business and has been involved at BRDB for over 25 years. Tim and Joyce married in 1981, and she continued working in the medical field for 12 years before she started at Blue Ridge. She started by helping in the office and has been involved ever since.

Joyce’s favorite thing about working at Blue Ridge is becoming friends with the clients. She also has enjoyed “flexible hours here for me during the years we raised three children; two boys who are now heavily involved in the company and a daughter who is an RN”.

Joyce is an avid “thrifter.” She enjoys decorating and home décor staging for friends and family. This has been critical in her role at Blue Ridge as her favorite part of the projects is the end results where she gets to stage them for photos. She especially enjoys staging kitchens and baths but also loves sunrooms and porches. Outside of work, she enjoys upcycling, gardening, travel, shopping, being with friends, and entertaining.
