Landon, a Carpenter here at Blue Ridge Design Build, graduated from Blacksburg High School where he studied carpentry for four years. In 2021 Landon graduated from Virginia Western Community College and obtained a Career Studies Certificate in Building Trades Technology and an OSHA 10 certification.
Landon began working in the summers at BRDB when he was 16 and started working full-time after high school. He worked in the company while continuing his education and getting his VA Western trades certificate. The family business encouraged him to become a carpenter, and he enjoys working with his hands and “being able to see my work at the end of the day.”
Outside of work, Landon enjoys traveling and trying new things. His favorite thing about working at BRDB is doing different types of work and working with grateful customers. Landon’s favorite type of work is anything that gets him outside.
Landon’s favorite building supply store is Home Depot.
