Logan Lawrence

Logan Leads our production team and has been around the company his whole life. He started part-time in 2011 and came on full-time after graduating from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in construction management.

Logan grew up in the family business and has been around carpentry since he was young. Eventually, he realized he could build the things that he wanted instead of buying them. Through that, he discovered he enjoyed the process. He started working for Blue Ridge in the summers. He enjoyed it but didn’t know if it was what he wanted to do long-term, saying, “As I got more exposure to different industries, I realized that construction was what I was good at, and I did like it. Over time that enjoyment has turned into more of a passion for the craftsmanship and customer service we try to exemplify at Blue Ridge.”

His beginnings in the residential construction world have shaped his role today by giving him the chance to learn from several very talented carpenters and business mentors.

Logan’s favorite thing about working at BRDB is the team culture. He says, “We all collaborate well and enjoy working together. At the center of it all is a shared care and concern for our clients’ spaces they’ve trusted us with. That shared respect is cool, and it’s nice for everyone to be on the same page about those priorities.” Logan also likes to be creative and take his time with his work.

He says everyone at BRDB prioritizes quality, so it’s great to be surrounded by people who think the same way. Reading clients’ design styles and then customizing a space to their unique tastes is super rewarding.

In his personal time, Logan enjoys getting outdoors by running, hiking, mountain biking, or paddleboarding. Along with outdoor hobbies, Logan loves cooking. This gives him ideas on how to best modify his favorite projects’ which are kitchen designs.

Logan’s favorite food is Tacos Al Pastor with a mandarin Jarrito.
